Angelica Garcia's Bio

Angelica Garcia-Guerrero is Associate Director of PRPSN and brings over 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit field. She has worked at PRPSN for over thirteen years.

She is a Mental Health First Aid Trainer, A Wellness Recovery Action Plan Facilitator and holds both a Peer Advocacy Certificate and Behavorial Science Degree.

She loves being part of an agency that truly values the people it serves and working with staff who she considers family.

Angelica believes the power of peer support is being able to walk alongside peers and support them in their recovery journey or simply be present with them.

She is driven by the values of hope, love and empowerment. When not working, Angelica strives to spend quality time with her family and friends. She enjoys cooking and Sunday dinners with laughter and great company.

She also enjoys going to country music concerts with her friends. Her favorite quote is, “Be the change you wish to see in the world,” by Mahatma Gandhi.
