Jessica has been a Peer Supporter/Peer Mentor for three years.
She has worked with individuals in the homeless community as well as individuals who have been justice involved. She holds a Peer Specialist Certificate as well as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor Certificate.
For Jessica, Peer Support means being there for others, never judging, showing others hope and making people feel alive, accepted, worthy and loved. She has enjoyed being there for others and helping them with their recovery at Project Return.
Faith, love, hope, peace and loyalty are the values that drive her. When she’s not working, Jessica enjoys traveling, enjoying good food at restaurants, visiting and spending time with family and working out.
Her favorite quote is, “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched—they must be felt with the heart.”
